The look of the finished surface matters, but so does the groundwork underneath and the way water drains away. We pay attention to both.
Every driveway or patio starts with excavation to the correct depth and the right sub-base. We use compacted Type 1 or Type 3, check levels carefully and ensure water runs in sensible directions – away from buildings and to suitable drainage points or planted areas.
Edges, kerbs, manholes and channels are finished neatly so the job not only looks good on day one, but stays tidy and usable in the years that follow.
